What do I do on a day at my house all alone? I cleaned out the refrigerator and freezer. What a mess! I found chocolate that was from my birthday last year. All those times I was looking for chocolate, who knew it was hiding in the fridge. As for Rachel's oil paints...apparently they save really well in the freezer, only oil paint doesn't come off the freezer walls with soap and water.

Before we were married, Jeff and I were friends with a married couple about ten years older than us with 3 young kids. One day we took the kids to the zoo just to give those overwhelmed parents some time of their own. Imagine our surprise when we brought the kids home and found the parents had spent the day doing the yard and cleaning the house. That was unimaginable to us in our young, romantic state. Now I completely understand!
