Great Day!

On Saturday, we were expecting to be snowed in and I had planned the day of cleaning and hanging around the house. I was pleasantly surprised when Ray told me some friends from out of town were coming to take us to supper and talk for a while. The girls all got busy and worked on their chores and helped me get the house cleaning that I wanted done. When they finished they asked for other ways they could help. I heard (almost) no complaining and no bickering! There was such peace in the house that when our friends were visiting we all decided to stay home to eat supper. The girls joined us in conversation part of the time and played on their own part of the time, while we sat by the fire and talked. Later in the evening I had to stop and thank God for such a relaxing and enjoyable day. I couldn't think of a better way to spend a day at home!
