Lydia is Five

What a great day! We had so much fun celebrating Lydia's big day. She had very specific ideas about her Pooh party and I think it turned out great. Rachel made her cake that no professional could have done better.

The cake is amazing. Rachel can you make for my son, Kevin who enjoys kayaking?

Lori,
We went up to see Sonja at Lee University to take a few more items for her. It has been a long day and I realized that I ommitted the word cake in the comment. Hope you got the point to the question?
Be blessed dear sister in the Lord.

Five...a great milestone! I especially love the picture with the dog running after the kids. Very sweet!

Well, I could try! When would you need it?
Let me think about it, I don't really have any kayak designs in my head right now.

Sonja,
About that dog. Every household with children needs a Golden Retriever. His name is Brandon and only five years old, but is the best friend in the world to every kid who shows up here.

Just a few months ago, we got our first golden retriever. She's 5 months old and such a sweetie. Hopefully, our German short-haired pointer doesn't ruin her! So far, I can completely agree with your statement.

Lori,
I brought over a CD with pictures of Kevin Kayaking, ut I forgot to mention that German Chocalate or regular chocalate is his favorite.
Please tell your daughte if for any reason that she can't do it not to worry.
If it works out I am going to surprise him at Aeropostle where he works because he is working that day.
That way other people can enjoy Rachel's culinary gifts.

Great cake! I got in a tradition of only having homemade cakes for birthdays, but I didn't know it would bring on so much stress. I always seem to have the notion that the cakes have to be elaborate. Oh well, they keep me busy anyway. Lydia, you got a guitar. Wow! Joseph got his guitar when he was 2 and still "plays" it all the time even though it is down to 4 strings and I haven't gotten replacements. ENJOY!!! Can't wait to hear you play some hymns ;)
