Six Words

Can you tell your life story in six words? The concept is to tell your own life story using six words, paying attention to punctuation. It may take a few tries and it may be changing over the course of your life, but it's really interesting. This is the article that Ray read to all of us that explains it better than I can.  Here are some illustrations from the story that really tell about a person's life- "For sale: Baby shoes, never worn", “Cursed with cancer, blessed with friends”, “I still make coffee for two”, “Business school? Bah! Pop music? Hurrah”, “I like big butts, can’t lie”. Adrian said that his might be - "Whoa man, you are really tall!" But it has to be said in his accent.

During Mary's birthday party we all tried to tell Mary's life story in six words. Here is what we came up with off the cuff:

Adrian - Born with a book in hand.
Rachel - Meanwhile, amongst the ordinary people...Mary.
Lydia - Oh yes, Mary has learned that.
Sarah - Now she's one with a sparkle.
Hannah - Mary is doing the dishes again. (Her joke)
 - Princesses drawn and read to life.
Daddy - Stars, mountains, and stories she loves.
Me - Her life is a deep story.

I was thinking a little differently when I came up with my story, but I guess that's the point. "Lost, but Redeemed! Now? Heart full!" tells of my life before Christ saved me, He sacrificed for me and now my heart seems so full that it could burst sometimes.

What would be your story?
