Eating on Vacation

You know I had to show off more pictures of our Summer vacation. When we go to the the beach every year I usually take almost everything we eat. We eat out a couple of times and there is a Publix for milk and eggs. I was a little busy before we left this time and Hannah made out the menu for the week. Some things on the list are there because of tradition, but we have enjoyed them still. It isn't gourmet eating, but then again, we don't stay at a five star hotel. It is about being with the family.

We can't go on vacation without eating at Krispy Kreme and taking way too many pictures. We think Abigail should be the Krispy Kreme model.

I'm always surprised when I hear that other people have the same traditions that we do. There seems to be a lot of families that make Aunt Catfish's the place to go in the Daytona area.
Angell and Phelps has the best chocolate, and I know chocolate! There is a difference in this and Hersheys, not that I turn down Hersheys, but this is just better.

The trip started at Nu-Way in Macon because we actually left on national hot dog day, even though I had packed a lunch for us to eat in the car.

When we went through Savannah on the way home we had to stop to get beignets. The meal portions are so big that three entrees served all of us and then we couldn't even finish a plate of beignets.
Grapes are easy and good in the car, I just have to watch Abigail extra close with them.
This is what Hannah came up with for our menu. It worked out pretty good.
