Raising kids is hard. You have so many things to balance. You have to be consistent yet flexible. You can't give your children everything, but don't want to withhold too much from them. You want to give them freedoms but you can't be too lenient. You have to punish wrongs but display the grace you've been shown.
I'm just thankful that in the end God is sovereign over all things.
