We were created to work. Work was instituted before sin entered into the world and we will work for God's glory into eternity. The more I think about that the more I am encouraged in my work here at home. I have been talking to the girls about this a lot. (You know I am finally teaching the younger ones to do chores.) Our dishwasher broke so that makes the kitchen work a little more not-so-fun. After a major dishwashing marathon Mary, who our most contemplative child, said, "I don't think chores or washing dishes is so bad. When you think about it, it's kind of fun." Wow! Thank you God for a moment of seeing that sometimes what we teach our children really does sink in.
