It was time to teach the younger girls to do chores. Because we have three older daughters, I had gotten slack about having the younger ones help enough. The moment Rachel and Hannah left for the summer, Sarah set about to teach Mary and Lydia how to do chores. My favorite line of the first week of summer was, "Mary, you may have to get your hands dirty if you're going to learn how to do the dishes." I am proud to announce that everyone now knows how.
