Confession Day

A few weeks ago, Lydia came to me with a guilty look and said, "I think there's something you need to know." I put my arm around her and let her tell me about a friend that had told her of something dangerous that she and her sister had done. Lydia was told not to tell and wasn't sure what to do. I was so thankful she came to me later. (I was also very glad the mom of Lydia's friend received the information very graciously.)
Since that night, Lydia has been on a roll of confessions. I have to smile at some of the things she has remembered that she wants to tell me about. I am also torn on how to punish. So far most things have been so long ago that I don't think I should do anything and I haven't spanked her at all for these things. But I'm still keeping my options open on that. Learning the difference between childishness and sin has been huge during this time.
We have had some of the sweetest conversations on how God may be convicting her and drawing her to Himself. I can't wait to see how God will move in her life and I pray that He will use her boldness for life for His glory.
