We ran another race a couple of weekends ago and I actually shaved two and a half minutes off of my time. We packed everyone into the car at 5:30 on Saturday morning and drove over to Rome to run the Berry College race. Ray ran the half marathon, Rachel ran the 10K and I ran the 5K. The other girls had fun watching runners, kicking a ball around, playing on those bouncy things, getting Lydia's face painted and just people watching in general. It's been years since we went off to a day festival like that. What a great day of fun! Lydia loved getting her face painted and jumping in the jumpy things. She kept asking all day for a mirror to make sure she hadn't smeared it. Berry College has some beautiful sights to see including the mill. In the top picture look closely to see that Ray, Mary and Lydia hiked up the hill.
