A Dove by Mary Rhodes

The dove flies swiftly,
And sings sweetly.
Although it is not at all nifty,
It perches on a branch ever so neatly.

A dove is oh, so elegant,
So beautiful and kind,
It makes you stare in wonderment,
A prettier bird you'll hardly find.

I found this poem under my pillow last night when I was going to sleep. Mary is often tucked away in her room reading, writing and creating masterpieces to give away.

What a great poem! Good job, Mary! I always enjoy finding little treasures under my pillow...Steven is always drawing pictures or cards for Andrew and me.
