The girls are supposed to get out of their pajamas before school starts, but Sarah can't seem to remember. Mary can be found in all kinds of spots and positions doing her work. They are both doing math and I am a strong proponent of letting them do school in a way/position that is fun for them as long as they can do it the way/position I say if they need to.

It's a turtle. We got a red earred slider and a Misssippi map for Mary's 3rd birthday. I thought they were like fish with short life spans. I now know that they can live for at least 13! years with proper care. One died after it was dropped too many times, but the other one is happily still growing.
