Homeschool Glimpses

As I was working at the computer on a recent afternoon, this was the conversation I overheard.
Sarah is laying on the floor playing with her basketball, Hannah is at the table whining that she just couldn't focus on her school. She said, "Why can't I be like Sarah and just not care about school?" Sarah giggles and said, "I'll care next year." Hannah's response, "I wish I was still in middle school so I didn't have to care."

It's so neat to hear their point of views on homeschooling. I did a little interview with the boys and was surprised by their perspectives. Sometimes they seem to have no clue about things and other times I am completely amazed how smart they are. I asked Joseph where Mommy works. After a pause he said, "Mommy works at home." Pure joy! I am glad he says is is my work, but sometimes I don't work hard enough.
