Now that the New Year has begun and I have spent much of the afternoon working on schedules, I am ready to get started. The problem is, now that I have the schedules worked out, the next two days already have extenuating circumstances. How can you plan the day to complete all that needs to be done and still allow for interruptions? I think the key is recognizing that which God has put before us and not what we've over committed for ourselves. Maybe I need to go back to the prayer closet....

I think we must be living in parallel universes, as I'm facing the same thing! Your post reminded me of a day last spring when I expressed to AnnaKate my frustration at not completing anything on my to do list despite being very busy that day. She (having breezed through my Shopping for Time book the day before while waiting at the orthodontist) reminded me that God must have had other plans for me that day!
I'll have to check out the Donna Morley book. I often need to hear or read these things repeatedly and in different ways!
Have a blessed week back in the groove!
