Marathon Monopoly

Hannah and Sarah have been playing this game since last Christmas. It came downstairs to the school table for the summer but made its way back upstairs for now. The idea is to keep everything out and on the floor until I go absolutely crazy from the mess. I'll show them - I don't have to go in their room. I am glad they're creative enough to have fun going on all the time, even though they have to take a lot of breaks for unimportant things like school, chores and life.

How does that work with three boards?

You start at the beginning of one board and go around each one in order. Hannah and Sarah divide out all the game pieces and play with everyone until that "person" runs out of money. Because they have three different kinds of Monopoly they can keep up with "whose" turn it is. When that "person" runs out of money they are out of the game. The last time I heard, they were down to about three or four "people" each. This only works if you can stand the mess and are able to do things in a very systematic way. I think that's why Rachel doesn't play. She wants to do things differently every time and she usually keeps her room clean. Does that make sense?

no, my brain hurts! Why do they put themselves through such torture!!! Well I guess they aren't think on as many things as a mom/wife. If it keeps them occupies and is safe and sound, go for it! Have fun girls. I want to hear who wins and how it ends though.
