Recently, Ray and I were talking about how God is so good to us and provides for us in amazing ways. Ray has a lot of different jobs that support our family and income for us is not always predictable, yet we have always been able to pay our bills. God provides for us in ways that we know HE is the one who is our provider. These are hard times economically for a lot of people but God still provides. George Mueller's lifestyle is a very interesting study in times like these.
I just spent some time talking to a single mom who has been out of job for a year! I was so sad for her yet we can all be comforted because of Matthew 6:28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Well said, and timely, too! Jeff has been reminding our church family that this is a great time to be a Christian! It seems like we have more and more opportunities to proclaim that our only hope is in the Lord. Thanks for sharing the testimony of God's provision for your family, Lori.
