My sweet neighbors fed the vines of their raspberry bushes under their fence for us last year. This year we were doubly blessed by an abundant crop. Mary and I were picking and eating as fast as we could this morning. We have the hope of tomorrow's crop being even bigger because we left so many that weren't quite full and soft. God is so good to our family every day; He's given us great friends AND sweet fruit. Mary can't wait for raspberry pie.

So that's what a raspberry crop should look like. I planted a raspberry bush last year and it produced it's first humble little crop this year. I go out every once and awhile and pick the 3-4 berries that are ready and share them with the boys. I'm sure farmers would laugh. But, they must be pretty tolerante because they survived teh drought last year and doubled in size despite.
P.S. We are coming down your way near the middle/end of July. If ya'll are available maybe we can get together. We are coming on Wed. & leaving on Sat or Sun. Hope to be able to see you gals & guy ;)

This little crop survived the drought here too without one thing from me. God grew those berries!
We can't wait to see you in July. Let us know when you're coming as soon as you know so we can plan to get together if you have time off from visiting family.
definitely, I will be letting you know. The hope is there will be plenty of time since we'll be there much longer than usual. We're looking forward to catching up with you in the non-electronic world.
