We had a wonderful trip to Florida for a little needed family fun time. We spent two days at Daytona and just played together. Ray spent a lot of time working on last minute details for his book coming out soon while we did things like bury the kids in the sand and hang out by the pool. While we enjoyed eating almost every meal on the deck outside of our hotel room, God put on quite a show in the weather for us. The clouds, waves and beach were absolutely beautiful. It's amazing how close you can feel to God when you wake to the sounds of the ocean and can have your quiet time surrounded by such beauty. We took our tripod and took some family pictures too. After we left Daytona, we had a great visit with some of the best friends a family could have. The Bailey's rolled out the red carpet for us again. I can't say how thankful we are for friends who always help us to live a life more pleasing to God. When I'm around Dawn I am always convicted to be a better wife. She has the kind of sweet, submissive spirit a godly wife should have.
At the end of the week we got to spend some time with friends from Ocala. We enjoyed time studying the Word, playing games, crafting and eating. We even got our first taste of Thai food - not too bad. The Lord has truly blessed us with good friends, new and old, to provide fellowship around His Word and the table.
