Mary's Amazing Question
Mary is our child who asks the questions. She is constantly asking one question after another and they seem to be thought out. Recently, she asked, "If people don't think that God made us and the world, how do they think we got here?" I explained to her that some people think that over millions of years something like the dust bunnies in our house gathered together and eventually became the earth and people. She burst out laughing and immediately wished our dust bunnies would get together really fast and become a horse. With a grin that let me know imagination had kicked in, Mary said, "Wouldn't it be cool if we had little bitty horses running all over the house?" (She's also our 'what if' girl.)
Even a child can see the foolishness of evolution.

I am using the Jonathan Park series in my Wednesday night class to teach the kids. They say the same things! How come the scientists who know so much believe such unbelievable theories. The heart is desperately wicked! None seeks righteousness, no not one! That is the discussion we had last night!
It is wonderful that God made us with the ability to understand so much even as a child!
Blessings to you! Eva
Thanks for that! We really have enjoyed the Jonathan Park series and have learned so much.
Ha ha! Just like a Rhodes girl to want a horse! Tell Hannah her check for school is on it's way.
Wonderful! If I wasn't a man, and was able to read this blog, Lori, I would say that you are a great writer. I would also say that Mary is such a special, smart girl from a super family.
Hello,
I just stumbled upon your holy blog and I have to say I am so impressed by your homemaking knowledge, your incredible devotion to God and your husband, and your great description of what those crazy liberal scientists are talking about! God bless you, your wonderful family, and all the good work you're doing. Congratulations on 24 years and keep up the good work!
Love and bazinga,
Jesus Gonzalez
P.S. Have you heard that there are also people who believe in vaccines and antibiotics? What is this world coming to?
