Joy in Receiving

Who said that women do not like to receive stuff like blenders? I couldn't have been any happier with my Christmas gifts this year. I got a mill and mixer. I know that may not sound like a big deal to some people but it's huge to me. The mill can grind wheat for fresh bread and the mixer kneads dough, makes large batches of cakes and cookies and is exactly what I wanted. I can make large batches of bread and it will be even healthier than before. (I have been using a bread machine with store bought whole wheat flour.) Women like me want gifts that will make their "job" much easier and healthier for their families. So I say, ask for new appliances. They are so much fun to receive. We had our first loaf of fresh ground wheat bread last night and it was wonderful. Now all I have to do is figure out how to work everything else.
