Thoughtfulness is remembered

I saw a friend yesterday and she reminded me of one of her great qualities. When we met she learned each of my daughters' names, ages and things they liked. After we knew her for a while she would write notes and bring little gifts to each of them at different times. The girls were always impressed that someone would think of them individually every once in a while. When you are part of a large family, you are often seen as a large group (which is not always bad.) It's also great to be seen as a special person created in God's eyes. I never took the time to tell her how nice that was. I think I'll let her know soon.
