A friend told me this week that she's quitting her job to stay home to teach her children. My first comment to her was that it'll be the most frustrating, gratifying thing she ever does. Today I experienced that all over again. Listening to Lydia read to Abigail is so sweet, but cleaning out last year's work is likely to make me crazy. I am too easily distracted. I have completely forgotten that the Lord is directing my steps and have become easily irritated. Can't we just quit school and play all the time?
