Abigail is growing way too fast! Of course, everyone knows babies do that. I can't tell you how many times I've been stopped by an elderly person who says something like, "Enjoy them now, they'll be grown up before you know it." I know that's true. Look at Rachel. She was just a tiny thing looking at the world with wonder and trying to figure out those appendages on the end of her hands.
Now Abigail is doing the same thing. She looks at a toy with amazement and is actually trying to play it. Everyone in the house thought she was a child prodigy the first time she batted a toy to make it move. But guess what she stills wants most of all? Our faces. As I write, she is laying on the bed beside me, "playing" with a toy. I'll shake it every once in a while to keep her interested in it. But the moment I make eye contact with her, she lights up! Her smile covers her whole little body, and she let's out a giggle. And I in turn, put away the writing, and play with my baby, because as everyone knows, babies grow way too fast!
