Faith

This past year has been a huge journey of faith for our family. Going through pregnancy with Abigail wasn't the only thing we've needed a extra measure of faith for. Ray's dad has had cancer for a long time, and has demonstrated great faith to the family. He is really sick right now and we are reminded again that our faith in an all-sovereign God is so important. If God isn't in control of all things, what is our faith in?... Doctors? - they can't be positive of what course to take; our family? - they can only do so much; traditions? - they change over time; ourselves? - we aren't God. So giving Abigail the middle name of Faith is a reminder of what it takes to navigate life, faith in the One True God, Who is in control at all times.
