For Time To Stand Still

One of the benefits of knowing your baby's date of delivery is knowing how much time you have to get things done. We have spent a lot of time the past few months getting the baby's "corner" ready, working on wedding details and trying to get Christmas things done. Today I thought about how it seemed as if time had stood still for the past week. I have thought very little about chores, projects, or shopping that needed to be done. It has been great to sit still, hold Abigail and enjoy her. I know that next week my life will need to resume a quicker pace, but I hope I'll be able to remember to enjoy these brief moments of her tiny little life.

Postscript- I wrote this post last week. It sat on my computer waiting for me to get back to it. Guess what happened? Life! The pace has picked up and I'm fighting it tooth and nail. And sometimes without the best attitude.

Praying for you to be productive when needed and still have time to rest and cuddle!

I can't imagine! With 5 other daughters to attend to, plan a wedding, and take care of a newborn! I am sure though your girls will be a great help. Will it be easy? No not always, but the Lord will see you through and if your cild has to wear a dirty sock to church cause only one made it into the wash...well it will be just fine (I speak from experience).
