State Champions in Basketball AND Sisters

No one has ever said we make things easy for ourselves. This past basketball season was no exception. Rachel coached at a Christian school in Cumming and Sarah played for one in Gainesville. Their teams are in the same conference and played each other in the regular season twice. (Rachel's team won both times this year.) Both teams made it to the state playoffs, but Sarah's team was eliminated in the first round and Rachel's team won 1st place.

I'm so proud of how well they both did. Competition can get the best of a girl, but they responded really well. They are fiercely loyal to their teams, which is necessary to be successful ball players. Even though they love their teams and give everything they have on the court, in the end they are sisters first! So at the championship game, Sarah was able to cheer for her sister's team with all she had. Sarah has had her share of championships and knows the thrill of victory and a job well done.
