Summers are for a slower pace of life. I don't consider myself lazy at all, but I love to relax. The past few weeks have taken on a new meaning of relaxation. I have read a couple of books, taken a couple of naps and let some things go. (Like this blog, in case you didn't notice.) It has been nice to recharge and rest. A friend gave me a stack of homeschool magazines that I picked up to read too. At first, my thoughts were, "I know why I don't read these often. My homeschool is nothing close to ideal and these kind of articles only discourage me." After reading on, I was encouraged by a few things that I know that I can incorporate into our school. Hopefully, through the next few weeks, I will pick up the pace and get to work on cleaning out the school closet and planning the new year. I think I should start with what I never got finished from last year. What do you think?
