We made banners that depicted the Christmas story and had the children bring them in a banner parade and recite Luke 2. After that they performed the nativity story for our church. The bottom picture is of Mary sewing all day on our banner since our sewing machine decided to break this week. I fully expected for Lydia to act out a scene from the Herdman's Christmas pageant, but she sang Away in a Manger like an "angel".
