Numbers

I am reading Numbers in my daily Bible readings right now and have been truly enjoying it this time. In the past I have usually taken the approach to Numbers as being important because it is part of God's Word, but not something I will ever understand. So far I am realizing that God takes worship of Himself very seriously and we must do the same. He laid out specific instructions for the Israelites to come before Him. We must desire to approach Him and then keep our full attention on Him to be ready to follow His leading. We are often praying for things from God, yet He knows what's best. What we are wishing for could often be the very death of us. As I read, I am often praying that God would reveal what He would have me learn from His Word.
