The purpose of this blog is to encourage ladies in the variety of aspects of homemaking. I would like for all women to fulfill their God-given calling to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

"We don't try to figure out our theology on the basis of the crisis we're experiencing. Rather, we evaluate and respond to our crisis based upon what we already know to be true of our God and his ways." Homeward Bound by Edward Hartman
Jerry and I were talking about that again this weekend. A lady that used to go to church with us left the church and became a Buddhist. She said she was angry at God for letting her mother die. It was a terrible thing to go through, but we are still mystified by her reaction. And those two sweet little children...
I cannot imagine turning to a false God in the face of death and sorrow. Facing life's struggles without the One, True God would be the most frightening thing of all.
