Thank You Notes

Over the holidays I became more aware of how important thank you notes are. Some people really remember every thank you that has been sent to them. I have always tried to have the girls hand write notes of appreciation for gifts and such and I'm sure we've forgotten more than we should have, but I know it means a lot to the giver to receive the note. The notes don't have to long, but thoughtful. You can use clever words, creative paper or a picture, but it should be done. I think two weeks is about the limit to wait to send out thank you, and guess what?... I'm behind. I know that's not surprising, but we'll get our notes for Christmas out soon. (Hopefully before January is over).
