Meditation

Meditation on divine things is not optional but obligatory, for it is something which God has commanded us to attend unto....This plea 'I am too busy to engage in regular and spiritual meditation' is an idle excuse; yea it is worse-it is deceit of your evil heart. It is not because you are short of time, but because you lack a heart for the things of God!... That which occupies our heart will most engage the mind, for our thoughts always follow our affections.
