Yorktown: Fun Education

Yorktown is exploding with history and the guide at the National Battlefield was amazing. She knew the story and its importance and made it come alive for us. The battlefield was even more haunting than Jamestown when she told us the stories of Washington, Lafayette and Cornwallis. We rode a trolley into town where the views of the Bay were gorgeous and we had a lot of fun walking around town. I am still amazed that the National Parks allow home-schoolers and their teachers in for free. Yorktown was one of our favorite places of the trip.
