To Have and to Hold

It isn't often that a book holds my attention in a way that I can't put it down. This book is a historical novel about a man from Jamestown set in the 1600's. The story of his honor to fulfil his commitment to his marriage vows against unbelievable odds is inspiring. The love that grows between them was a beautiful picture of how God blesses your marriage commitments. There was no steamy love scenes (thankfully) yet the passion in this book held my attention for the course of the few days it took to read.
