Oh Happy Day!
Is it silly to celebrate the anniversary of your first date with your husband? No way! Ray and I had our first date 23 years ago and were married nine months later. We went to a Baptist sponsored dance (gasp) and never turned back. He danced his way into my heart that day and the dance we've shared since then has been such a blessing. How can you tell young couples who are in love that they have no idea of what love is until you've known that love for many years? God has truly blessed our love and grown us in tremendous ways. Ray has become the husband and leader of our family who gladly lays down his life for us every day. He works unending hours to provide for us and with wisdom gives us guidance that comes from knowing God's Word. I am the one who God blessed on November 1, 1986.

aw how sweet! I truly admire you both and your marriage. Praise the Lord for showing you true love over the years. Happy First Date Anniversary, not at all less important than your wedding anniversary. After all it is the date that started it all ;)
Dan and I will be married 24 years on Jan. 19th 2009 which is also his birthday. Anniversaries are a time of sweet reflections of what God is done in our lives.
