Kids Say What?

We love to travel with Ray when he preaches at different places. We have been treated to hospitality at its finest and are always amazed at how God blesses us with kind and generous people. This past weekend was no exception. We stayed at the home of some new, but dear friends. The home was absolutely gorgeous and we were very kindly welcomed in. Lydia was enthralled with the home and as usual let everyone know how she felt. She nearly floated up and down the staircase in her princess night gown and assigned us all new roles in life. Here is how she put the situation:
"Mommy let's pretend I am the princess here and Mary can be a princess too. You be the queen and Daddy can be the king." She glanced around and with a very definitive air about her looked at the owners and said to the wife, "You can be the maid." I guess she realized from my horror that wasn't good, so she added, "Well if she doesn't won't to be the maid, she can be the guard." I am so thankful that our hosts were so gracious and laughed with us.
