Fear Almost Set In

This is what my school area has looked like for the past week or so. (Actually we had cleaned up a lot before I thought to take a picture.) I have been furiously trying to get last year's school cleaned up and this new year's ordered and put in place. On Thursday I realized that this is the first year that I will have four children home-schooling and all five in music lessons away from home. For a moment I felt very afraid, almost panicked. I am looking at new ways to organize and discipline ourselves to work together. With the girls from Kindergarten to 11th grade we have quite a span of subjects to cover. I am slowly beginning to see how things can work great. I know it sounds silly for those of you with large families, but we are embarking on a new course at our house and the path seems a little shaky. I'm thankful our foundation is on the Rock of Christ, not my schedules and lists.

I love that you are so honest. It helps those that are watching from the distance see where you look for direction. It's not just in the big life or death situations but in everyday life.
You are living out those verses, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.", and "cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."
