Sweet Sixteen

Hannah turned sixteen last week. Her birthday went by calmly, but we had a surprise party last night that made up for the quiet birthday. One of her favorite teachers was Mrs. Chester and she and her husband have a band that plays Christian music. Their music is a little folk, a little pop, a little praise and worship all mixed together. They came to our house, along with about twenty of Hannah's closest friends, to celebrate this huge milestone. It's been several years since she had a big party and we had a lot of fun. God has been so good to our family to bless us with children who love to be at home and church; and they love to be with other Christians, young or old. The Chester's did a great job with the music and Hannah was thrilled to have them. The pictures are of her being lead into the house by Sarah and some friends who blindfolded her, some of the group listening to the music, Randy and Mackenzie Chester with Hannah, and singing Happy Birthday with Oreo pie instead of cake.
