"How to Bring Your Children to Christ"

In his book How to Bring Your Children to Christ, Ray Comfort tells of a how giraffes are born. The mother gives birth standing and the baby drops six feet to the ground. The young giraffe has about an hour to wobble around, get it's bearings, then it's ready to go. Thankfully, when we have our babies, we get to love and hold them for a while. The author of this book does a wonderful job of presenting the gospel, but then brings the reader to the realization that we must use the Law of God to bring our children to faith. That means they need to know the Ten Commandments and Bible verses.
I have used Scripture in decorating my home for years. As I write I have a new purpose of taking that idea a step farther and pressing it on the hearts of my children. We have a beautiful framed poster of the Ten Commandments hanging in a bathroom. It's amazing how much conversation it has generated from one of the little ones coming out and asking questions. Another poster we found worthy of framing was The Narrow and Wide Gates Art Print which is a colorful representation of the Way of Life vs. Way of Destruction with scriptural annotation by Caffy Whitney. I love the questions these things draw out and I know that God is impressing on their hearts Who He is.
