Praise for a Summer Treat

We have received more blessings in the past month than we could ever deserve. Saturday was a great example while we had been working in the yards all day. I took a break and was playing in the kiddie pool with some of the girls when they convince Ray to stop working right then and go to Sonic. We piled in his truck and went as we were. After we all ordered and the treats came to the window, the carhop gave us the good news - we were her 300th customer and our whole order was free! Now most famlies do not spend $13.00 on treats at Sonic and it is a rare thing for us to do, but today we were thrilled. We brought our ice creams home to eat under the shade trees in the back yard and thanked God for his rich blessings. A thirteen dollar treat doesn't make or break a family but it is just a small illustration of how God continues to sustain our family day in and day out by providing for our needs and beyond. God is so good.
