Picture above is Hannah, Mary, and Lydia with Dr. Al Mohler of SBTS. Ray is about to begin his doctoral work at Southern and made a trip with these girls to talk to the professors. As we begin this journey as a family we are excited and a little nervous. Ray will be reading about six thousand words a year along with writing papers and classes. This is all added to the work he already does. God is faithful to provide the strength and time he needs to do his work. Hopefully, as a family, we will be faithful to provide help, quiet and patience for Ray to do his work.

Lori, we're so sorry we missed seeing Ray and the girls while they were here. I was under the weather -- and I heard from Amanda that it was a whirlwind trip! I hope we'll be able to offer some hospitality next time, Lord willing. In the meantime, we'll be praying for strength and stamina for Ray and your whole family as he begins this new endeavor.
